Roberta Puglisi attended the “8 th EuChemS Chemistry Congress”, held in Lisbon (PT) from 28 th August to 1 st September, organized by the Portuguese Chemical Society with the support of the Portuguese Electrochemical Society.
EuChemS Chemistry Congress is a unique opportunity for scientists working in several fields of Chemistry, focusing on its crucial role at the interface with biology, material and environmental science, both for the progress of humankind and for the solution of the modern challenges of our society.
In this context, Roberta participated with an oral contribution entitled: “Hybrid magnetic nanoparticles coated with Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for hazardous pollutants sequestration from water”. She discussed about her research work developed in the framework of the Antìbio project, showing the synthesis and application of new magnetic imprinted hydrogels able to selectively remove antibiotics from water.
